Telephone 111 to make contact with the Urgent Care Service. You will be able to speak to a GP or attend a treatment centre. Calls to this number are free.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

For matters which you would normally make a GP appointment call 111, DO NOT ATTEND A&E.

For Emergencies call 999 or attend A&E.  Chest pains and / or shortness of breath and accidents such as broken bones or road traffic accidents for example constitute an emergency.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

• Treat yourself at home
• Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
